Brad started his financial services career at a large multinational insurance company in 1997. Working closely with other advisors, he developed the skills and earned the designations that are the basis of his knowledge and experience in the financial services business.
Brad is informed on industry and government changes and committed to the value financial planning provides his clients. He's focused on delivering superior customer service, high end financial plans and sound insurance and investment advice. As owner of Marlatt, his ongoing investment in staff and infrastructure reinforce his goal to be the most client friendly financial planning firm in Canada.

Terry Townson, CFP
Insurance and Retirement Specialist
Terry grew up in the insurance industry. In 1986 she joined her father Bud Townson at Townson & Co. where she learned the importance of helping clients achieve their life goals through sound financial planning. After extensive experience in both financial services and insurance, Terry became the president of Townson & Co., in 2001.
Terry joined Marlatt in June of 2008 and can be counted on for her wealth of knowledge in insurance and risk management. Terry earned the prestigious designation of Certified Financial Planner in 2003.

Kris Dureau, CFP, CHS
Insurance and Retirement Specialist
Kris is the newest advisor to Marlatt, joining us in May 2011. Kris started his career at a large insurance company in downtown Toronto in 2007 with great success.
He quickly realized that as good as the environment was for learning he knew that he wanted to work in a brokerage office where he could provide clients with endless options and not be handcuffed to one company. Kris also wanted to be able to provide clients a complete holistic approach to financial planning.

Heather Amlin
Operations Manager
Heather oversees all of Marlatt’s staff and client relations and is also responsible for managing financial administration and back office initiatives. Heather has taken the lead role in Marlatt’s exciting branding initiative, helping to create a fresh new image for the company, as well as expanding services to meet clients’ unique needs.
Heather began her financial services career when she joined Peter Marlatt’s downtown Toronto practice in July 2000. By December that year, Peter moved his practice to Oakville and on October 1, 2003, Heather and Brad became joint owners of Marlatt.

Ron is a dream weaver. When the planning file is given to Ron he looks at your short and long term goals, your current situation and your estimated financial outlook. Then he develops a comprehensive report that examines your ability to achieve your goals. He looks for weaknesses or risks that could prevent you from meeting your objective and he develops strategies to ensure your dreams are fulfilled.

Lore Fat
Marketing Coordinator
Lore is a multitasking powerhouse. She excels in managing client relations and assisting with high end investments and insurance sales. Lore is our advisors’ quarterback. Her goal is to keep clients for life and she works towards this by getting to know clients on a personal level, maintaining contact throughout the year and dealing with any needs, issues or suggestions. She also provides invaluable help with the administration of investment accounts.

Seija Bokalo

After 25 years at both the branch and head office level of a major Canadian insurance company, Seija’s wish was to work in a smaller office. She came to Marlatt in late 2001 and has been with us ever since!
Seija assists in processing investment changes and product sales. She strongly values her personal contact with clients and is happy to answer any administrative questions about your accounts.

Laura is our youngest team member, always offering a fresh approach to the rest of the Marlatt team. Working closely with Seija, they both keep on top of the administration and customer service needs of our clients and their accounts.
A former Sheridan College student, Laura is pursuing studies in all areas of risk management and investment products.
